


Internal Medicine

Dr. Margaret Gajda, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, began serving patients at Lawn Medical Center in 2000. She also holds a certification by the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. After attending Medical School in Gdansk, Poland, Dr. Gajda participated in a rotating internship at the Medical University Hospital Center in Nancy, France and then an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois and Advocate Christ Hospital and Medical Center.
Her accomplishments include “America’s Top Physician Award”, the “Patients’ Choice Award”, and “America’s Most Compassionate Doctor”. Currently, Dr. Gajda shares her expertise as a Teaching Attending for Internal Medicine residents of ACMC. In addition, she is a co-chair of the Primary Care Physicians’ Hospital Advisory Committee at Advocate Christ Medical Center. She speaks Polish, German, French and Russian.
