Dr. Robert Chalupczak, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, began his service to patients at Lawn Medical Center in 2002. Dr. Chalupczak graduated from the Medical School of Bialystok, Poland and went on to complete a rotational internship at Sniadecki Hospital and his Internal Medicine Residency at PSK University Hospital both located in Bialystaok, Poland. When he arrived in the United States, he fulfilled his Internal Medicine residency requirement at Advocate Christ Hospital and Medical Center/ University of Illinois at Chicago.
For the last 14 years he has been a preceptor for the Essential of Clinical Medicine, a required course for second year medical students attending the University of Illinois. His top performance in achieving exceptional clinical integration outcomes earned him the Advocate Physician Partners’ “Exemplary Physician Award.” As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, he is actively involved with teaching Internal Medicine residents at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves on both the Advisory Committee of Internal Medicine Residency and the Pain Management Committee. His accomplishments also include the “Teacher of the Year Award” from the University of Illinois Internal Medicine Program at ACMC. He speaks fluent Polish and Russian.
